Rinchenling Resort is situated in the hub of Bumthang Chamkhar town, in close proximity to iconic historic landmarks of the valley such as Jambay Lhakhang, Kurje Lhakhang and Tamshing Lhakhang.rinchenling-bumthang Bhutan The establishment offers 28 rooms (20 Standard, 6 Deluxe, 2 Suites) and two apartments. Blending Bhutanese architecture with modern settings, all the rooms are symbol of comfort and beauty. Wood panelled walls, traditional and modern heating systems, and closets constructed with imported materials assure required comfort. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms offering running hot & cold water, toiletries and equipped with heaters, tea / coffee maker, hair dryer, Wi Fi. Rinchenling boasts of a traditionally decorated restaurant with a bar attached to it. Using organically grown & sourced vegetables and fruits, the restaurant offers Bhutanese, Indian, Chinese, Continental and Thai cuisine. Local Bhutanese beverages to imported liquor and wines are available at its bar. To refresh and relax after a day’s exploration of Bumthang valley, the facility of traditional hot stone bath available providing respite to aching joints and muscles. The property also has a state-of-the-art conference room that can fit in 50 people. Guests can pick up their favourite book from its small yet diverse library and enjoy the pleasure of reading it within beautiful lawns of the lounge. Nothing can beat Rinchelling’s meditation hall constructed in a pristine environment, surrounded by pine trees just above the lodge. One complete house has been dedicated to practitioners of meditation and yoga. Resembling a Buddhist temple, it can easily fit in more than twenty people. The hall also has an inner room, where Buddhist masters (Lamas and Rimpoches) usually stay. Any guest can practice or get immersed in the spiritual exercise. If required, or at the behest of guests, Rinchelling can arrange to bring in Buddhist Masters adept in meditation and yoga, for the guests’ learning & experience. Bhutan is unique and one factor contributing to this uniqueness is its culture, embodied in various forms, one of which is the religious dances called ‘Chamms’ performed during religious festivals. The hotel can organize such festival dances accompanied by Bhutanese traditional folk song and dances.
